KM&T Pte Ltd presented at the recent Ministry of Health Quality Improvement Conference 2010 held at Suntec City in Singapore. The joint presentation from Scott Middleton, Managing Director KM&T Asia Pacific and Mike O'Connor Managing Consultant from KM&T Australia was focussed on the use of Lean in Healthcare to improve productivity and stimulate innovation.
In what was one of the best received presentations at the MOH Quality Improvement in Healthcare Conference 2010, KM&T presented an overview of Lean in Healthcare and how it can be used to improve productivity and stimulate innovation using an end-to-end patient care pathway. The presentation was an outstanding success and unfortunately was oversubscribed with wishful attendees being turned away. The key message of the presentation was the inclusive nature of using Lean in Healthcare and this was supported by case studies from the end-to-end patient care pathway. These case studies were selected from KM&T’s global experience with more than 50 hospitals and clinics worldwide.
